This course provides trained medical personnel with the knowledge, skills and abilities to analyse the medical risks at a CBRN or hazardous materials incident and to plan and implement procedures to respond to potential health impacts on response personnel in a pre-hospital setting. Applicant for this course should have been attended Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) qualified or higher, Advanced Life Support (ALS) certified, and clearance of employer to work in personal protective equipment; CBR LAT at the individual basic level.
