Overview
Hotzone Solutions Group is a leading provider of specialized training and consulting services to the military and civilian community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EOD Instructor to join our team and provide training on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) techniques, equipment, and procedures to military and/or civilian personnel. The Instructor will support during training military and/or civilian personnel during real and simulated CBRN search operations, and design and provide EOD training course and curriculums.
Responsibilities
- Povide training on Explosive Ordnance Disposal techniques, equipment, and procedures
- Support military and/or civilian personnel during real and simulated CBRN search operations in training environment
- Assist in the setup and EOD related operations
- Ability to perform all activities related to Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE)
- Provide expertise in Explosive safety, explosive ordnance disposal and reconnaissance, conventional munitions design and safety
- Advise on use of protective clothing, decontamination methods and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methods
- Address health and safety issues related to CBRNe
- Provide guidance on Chem-EOD related topics
- Support in curriculum development for EOD training programs
- Advise on weapons technical intelligence and deployment as an EOD team leader or higher
- Use training methods and techniques used in military training
- Provide guidance on forensic sampling and evidence evaluation
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience with EOD
- Expertise in Explosive safety, explosive ordnance disposal and reconnaissance, conventional munitions design and safety
- Experience in curriculum development for EOD training programs
- Understanding of weapons technical intelligence
- Experience in training methods and techniques used in military training
- Experience in forensic sampling and evidence evaluation, typically gained in criminal investigation units, weapons intelligence teams, Counter-IED Task Forces or supporting agencies
- Additional certification or qualifications in toxicology or first responder
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
