Upon completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge, skills and abilities to:
- Perform adequate IED practical search techniques
- Define sufficient IED reporting and evacuation protocols
- Modify existing Bomb ‘search’ and evacuation procedures
Classroom and practical event based, this course starts with defining the IED and underlining the IED threat in respect to developing a proactive IED search program germane to participants/organizations daily environment. Participants are exposed to IED components and effects. Realistic IED training aids are utilized throughout this course in order to enhance the learning experience. Participants are divided into search teams and taken through a series of instructor-led scenarios for area, vehicle and personnel search techniques.
Duration of course can be modified to meet the clients’ requirements.
