The following instructions have been created for participants in the CBRNe Fundamental Awareness online course, taking place from 2 December to 6 December 2024 – 10:00 to 14:00 CET (Amsterdam Timezone), using Zoom.

To ensure a productive and successful experience for everyone involved, it is important that all participants adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Timing: The course schedule is strictly adhered to, and all participants must respect the timings outlined in the agenda.
2. Professional Conduct: Participants are expected to treat each other with dignity and respect, fairness, honesty, integrity, openness, and courtesy, regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or disability. Differences in beliefs and opinions should be valued and respected without prejudice or malice.
3. Safe Practices: The importance of regularly reviewing operational practices and procedures to maintain safe standards is emphasized. There is always room for improvement.
4. Speaker Respect: Participants are asked to switch off all phones and devices or set them to silent during the course. If a call must be taken, participants are requested to step out of the session.
5. Zoom Account: Students should have a Zoom account and be familiar with using the platform.
6. Technical Requirements: Students should have access to a stable internet connection, a computer or laptop, and a webcam.
7. Scheduling: Students should be available and on time for the start of each session, which will take place from 10:00 to 14:00 CET (Amsterdam Timezone) from 2 December to 6 December 2024.
8. Engagement: Students should actively participate in the course and engage with the instructor and other students through features such as chat and Q&A sessions in Zoom.
9. Feedback: Students should provide constructive feedback on the course and the instructor’s teaching style.
